OLIVEIRA, Luis - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Luis Oliveira, born on July 10, 1931 in Azores, Portugal. He passed away peacefully in his home in Toronto on June 8, 2020.
He is survived by his loving wife Elvina of 61 years.
Luis will be sadly missed by his children Maria (Jorge), Manny, Humberto (Carmelina), Nelson (Paula).
He was the cherished grandfather of Kevin, Celina, Kyle, Julian, Megan and Aaron.
He also was a great grandfather to Tyson, Reef and Breeze.
Luis will be held dear in the hearts of his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Even though he will be greatly missed, he will no longer suffer and will be at peace in heaven.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
The Oliveira family would like to thank everyone for their support during these very difficult and uncertain times.
