Janes FloraJANES, Flora Mary 'Flo' - Flora Mary Janes, born in Campbellton, Newfoundland on February 28, 1926, passed away peacefully at her Toronto home with family by her side, on June 13, 2020.

Loving mother to Beverly, Bob and Brian. Loving Nana to granddaughters Carly and Alanna and great-granddaughter Addison.

Predeceased by parents Pearce and Ann (nee Harnett) Manuel, husband Harold Janes, brother Fred Manuel and sister-in-law Irene Manuel.

When Flo was 6 years of age her mother passed away, she went to live with her mother's sister Sarah and newly married husband Allan Boyde, in Summerford, NL. Flo was the first child in the home followed by five boys; Bobby, Otto, Neil, Jackson and Hector. The six children were lovingly raised as siblings.

Though she didn't grow up with them she had a another loving family of half brothers and sisters. She leaves behind her brother Bill (Ruth), Pearce (Kathleen) and Allan. Sister Gladys (Roy), Grace (George) and Shirley (Dexter). Predeceased by brother Harry (Annie) and sister Daisy (Jim) and Lucy (Ted).

She will be missed by her many cousins, nieces (in Canada and the USA), nephews and friends. Longtime friend Ruth Northrup (80 years) and Marg Gallant (67 years).

At the family's request, guests have been asked to please wear a mask during the visitation at the PAUL O'CONNOR FUNERAL HOME, 1939 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough for the family on Tuesday, June 16th from 1 - 2 pm.

Service will be held in the funeral home chapel for the family on Wednesday morning at 11am. Interment at Highland Memory Gardens.

Due to the current conditions, you may view the live stream of the Service from the comfort of your home, by going to the Paul O'Connor Funeral Home Facebook Page on Wednesday, June 17th at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice.
