Krupchyn BonnieKRUPCHYN, Bonnie Carolyn (Russell) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bonnie Carolyn (Russell) Krupchyn, at St. Joseph's Health Centre in Toronto on June 12, 2020.

Beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend, she is survived by her mother, Ann Violet Hipgrave, son Blair William Krupchyn, daughter-in-law Suzanne Krupchyn, brother Brooks Hipgrave and grandchildren Andria and Victoria Krupchyn.

She was predeceased by her father William Gardiner Russell and her husband and partner of 42 years, Nick Krupchyn.

Bonnie was a proud employee of Bell Canada from the day she turned 18 until her retirement in 1998. There she made many friends, whom she cherished long after her days at Bell. She was an avid sports fan and particularly enjoyed baseball and motor sports. In her later years she volunteered with the Canadian Kidney Society and the Salvation Army.

Ever the fighter, she beat lung cancer in 2002. Becoming a grandmother gave her life a new purpose and she fought hard to be in her precious (and precocious) grandchildren's lives as much as possible.

Given the current situation surrounding COVID-19, there will be no funeral and a private interment will take place. A celebration of life will occur at a later date.
