MENDES, Sylvia Amelia - Sylvia Mendes passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Scarborough General Hospital.
She was born in Georgetown, Guyana and emigrated to Canada in 1983.
She is survived by her five daughters (Gloria, June, Desiree, Denise and Sharon), 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and sister Jeanette Beeharilal.
Sylvia’s pride and joy was her five daughters and she dedicated her life to them. She had a sharp wit, loved cooking and enjoyed a good glass of wine.
