Perrella MariaPERRELLA, Maria (nee Campanella) - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Perrella (nee Campanella) at Credit Valley Hospital on Monday June 29, 2020, in her 97th year.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son Michael (Adele) and her grandsons David and Andrew. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Bartolomeo and her precious daughter Annette, her parents, and dear brother Armando Campanella.

She is survived by her sister Lucia Chiovitti, many sisters-in-law, and a brother-in-law along with several nieces and nephews.

Her journey began in Boiano, Italy on December 7, 1923. In 1953, with Annette, she travelled to Sao Paolo, Brazil to join her husband. In 1956, they were blessed with the birth of their son Michael. In 1961, the Perrella family immigrated to Toronto. They worked tirelessly and made sacrifices to ensure a better life for their children.

Maria was a long-standing parishioner at All Saints Church. Her faith sustained her throughout her life especially after the devastating loss of her daughter and her husband. She fought the good fight and persevered until the end. We take comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her loved ones.

She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Forum Italia for their care and compassion.

May she rest in peace and continue to guide us from above.
