WATKINS, Iris Evangeline - (1933 - 2020) - It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Iris Evangeline Watkins, peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband Ian W. Watkins and her siblings Isabel, Sybelle, Victoria, Winston and Harold; survived by Pearl.
Iris is survived by her children Pamela, Brian (Evangeline), Marlene, Hayden (Neifa), Julian (Maria), Rosemarie (Thomas) and Annmarie (Rocco); stepson Anthony (Elsa).
A beloved grandmother to Alexander, Elyse (Cody), Melissa, Adam, Amanda, Adriano, Lauren, Karel, Victoria, Ryan, Evan and Luca.
A cherished aunt, cousin and friend to the Singh, Tilluckdharry, Lall, Mortelliti, Fekete, Moodalie, Stergiou, Sampath, Juman, Gokool, Jurawan, Sastoo, Keshwah, Marjadsingh, Vincente, Rajaram, Sloan and Watkins Family.
Iris will always be remembered for her joyous and positive attitude throughout her life. She was always an inspiration to everyone, but especially so to all her grandchildren, whom she loved so much. Such memories will always be fond ones.
In lieu of flowers we encourage any memorial donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
