SHAW, Elizabeth (McCarroll) - August 21, 1934 - August 13, 2020 - Much loved by all who were blessed to have known her, Elizabeth entered into eternal rest on August 13, 2020 surrounded by her family.
Elizabeth was the beloved wife of William Shaw for more than 62 years.
Devoted Mother to William, Stephen (Laurel) and Lynda (Ed).
Adored Nanny to Raffaele (Amanda), Colleen (Danny), Katie, Michael (Victoria), Alyssa (Nick), Katherine and Tyrus (Jamie-Lyn) and Great Nanny to Hunter, Jackson, James, Anthony and Arya.
Elizabeth is also survived by her sisters Jean and Molly, many nieces and nephews as well as many cherished friends.
Elizabeth's warmth, caring and kindness is the legacy that all her family and friends will cherish and keep in their hearts.
Elizabeth was retired from the North York Board of Education/Toronto District School Board.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be brief visitation on Monday, August 17, 2020 at Highland Funeral Home, Scarborough from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. followed by a private family funeral.
All guests will be required to wear a mask while inside the building and to social distance. No food or open beverages. During visitation, guests will be guided by the funeral home staff upon entry.
