DELAP, Joan Olive - (1937 - 2020) -
On Tuesday August 11th, 2020, Joan Delap, daughter of George & Olive Cook, sister to Kathleen (deceased), Lorna, Marlene & David, passed away at Sunset Manor in Collingwood, ON.
Joan was predeceased by her Husband David and daughters Kathleen Delap and Jacqueline Kimberly (Ben) Baskin. Sister-in-Law to Fred Delap (Sue). Auntie to 12 nieces and nephews living across Canada.
Joan enjoyed the early years with her family and the summers in Muskoka where they learned to fish, swim and water ski. When the nest emptied Dave & Joan travelled and became members of the HOG group and toured both Canada & the USA.
Joan's family suffered many heartaches and health issues losing Kathy at the young age of 17 to MS and Kim in 2014.
We appreciate the kind support from their dearest friends, Al & Marlene, Fred & Josie, Ken & Vicky, and Carolyn who have kept in contact all these years.
In lieu of flowers donations to THE MS Society Canada and Simcoe -Muskoka CMHA to help others in the fight against these devastating diseases.
Arrangements with Thompson funeral home, Aurora. A private graveside service will take place on Friday, August 14th at the Aurora Cemetery
