Dookram TuliaDOOKRAM, Tulia Olga (née Babooram)Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Tulia Olga Dookram (née Babooram) passed away on August 19, 2020 at the age of 86 years.

Loving wife of the late Sewchan Rhymal Dookram, Tulia will be sadly missed by her 8 children: Vijay (the late Ramanand), Ravin (Laura), Mala, Nirupa (Josh), Jitendra (Rajnee), Rohan (Shanta), Surin (Nicole), and Esther (Joe), 22 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends.

Tulia was predeceased by her parents, Mani (Rocky) and Margaret Babooram and siblings, Elaine Hariprashad and Rick Babooram.

Tulia was most passionate about her family and her faith. Her hands were rarely still and could often be found cooking, sewing, knitting or reading her bible. There was never a day that went by where she didn’t say a prayer calling every single name of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and in-laws. Family meant everything to her.

Although it would have been hard for her to leave her family behind, there is no doubt that she knew God would take care of them all after she was gone. Tulia’s love for family and trust in God is the legacy that will live on with us always.

She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

The family would like to thank the staff at Baycrest Hospital for their compassion and care of Tulia over the last few days.
