HOOEY, Susan Lee (nee Tucci) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Lee Hooey (nee Tucci) on August 19, 2020, shortly after her 61st birthday.
Susan grew up in the Township of Foley, Ontario (south of Parry Sound) and moved to Toronto to attend University. After studying and graduating from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute, Susan excelled as a fashion retailer.
Moving to Brampton and after raising two children, Susan returned to retail.
Susan loved the outdoors and could often be found around water. She spent many hours roaming the shores of Lake Ontario near Port Credit. She found the tranquility of water to be soothing.
Susan is survived by her children Jennifer and Kevin, her mother Marion (nee Foote), her brothers, Lorie and Darin, and her sister Shannon as well as all her nieces and nephews. Susan was predeceased by her father Denton.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at Ward Funeral Home in Brampton on August 29th. The celebration will be live streamed for virtual attendance.
Wearing of masks, or face coverings, by everyone is mandatory as per the directives of the Bereavement Authority.
