Sinclair LyndaSINCLAIR, Lynda - (1960 - 2020) - After a 3 year battle with illness that saw her never lose her love for life or her positive outlook, Lynda Sinclair passed away in the morning hours of September 8, 2020, surrounded by her family.

While husband Ian has lost his best friend (and lifelong dance partner), he is blessed by the 42 wonderful years they had together.

Her 2 amazing children, Mark (Debbie) and Stephanie (Derek) have lost a cherished ‘WorldBoss’ and mentor. Lynda’s guidance will continue to steer them through life’s rough waters.

Lynda was ‘B.G.’ (Best Gramma Ever!!) to Juliette who was Lynda’s fuel to battle through these last few difficult months. She will be missed too by her ‘baby’ brother Gordie and her Aunt Hazel.

As many have mentioned, Lynda’s radiant, infectious smile brightened every room she entered and rubbed off on everyone she came in contact with. That smile will now make the stars in the sky a whole lot brighter. Lynda had 2 main passions in life… her family and travel (so you can imagine how crazily wonderful family vacations were!!). She has excelled at both and we are all the better for having her in our lives.

The family invites all who have known Lynda through school, Drum Corp., church, neighbours, work life, etc. to join us to reflect upon how she made the world a better place and wish her Bon Voyage as she goes to prepare our future 5 star accommodations in the clouds!!

Visitation will be at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E., Scarborough on Sunday September 13 from 1 – 4 PM & 6 – 8 PM. *** Please respect the fact that only a limited number of friends can enter the building at any one time.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Precious Blood Parish, 1737 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough, on Monday September 14th at 10:30 AM. Interment is at Pine Hills Cemetery. Following, join the family for a Celebration of Lynda’s Impact on Life at Bluffers Park Marina Restaurant, 15 Brimley Rd. Scarborough.

*The funeral mass will be available by Live Stream through the website of Precious Blood Parish http://preciousblood.ca/

If desired, donations may be made to Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre in Oshawa or Covenant House in Toronto.
