De Amicis CarmelaDE AMICIS, CarmelaAfter a courageous battle, Carmela passed away peacefully on Sunday September 6th, 2020 at Humber River Hospital, in her 73rd year.

Beloved wife of Edmondo De Amicis. Loving mother of Maria De Amicis her husband Robert Seepaul and Antonio De Amicis.

Proud Nana of Kye Cutler-De Amicis, his wife Meg Gomes, Collin Cutler-De Amicis, Gavin, Kameron, Cassidy De Amicis and Victoria Seepaul-De Amicis.

Cherished Great Grandmother (Nonna) of Niko De Amicis-Gomes.

Carmela was always happy to see her grandchildren, she always wanted to be around them. No matter how much pain she was in, she would always have the biggest smile when she saw them, she always wanted to hug and kiss them.

She would be super excited to see her great grandson, she always wanted to hold him and kiss him. She always told him that she was his Nonna and that she loved him very much.

She tried her best to keep in touch with all her relatives / her husband’s relatives, nieces, nephews & cousins who lived in different countries such as Italy, Australia, New York & Massachusetts as well as here at home in Toronto, Welland, and St. Catharines. She would send messages on Facebook always trying to keep up with the latest news with all of them. She loved them and always spoke highly of everyone.

In her healthier days she had visited almost every state in the USA and always made lifetime friends, especially in California, Florida, New York, Georgia & Alabama.

She always had a smile on her face and no amount of pain could ever stop that. She smiled up until her very last breath.

Arrangements with Ward funeral homes, Woodbridge CHapel.
