Chalmers EvelynCHALMERS, Evelyn Mary (Wludyka) - On Monday, September 7, 2020 Evelyn passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Mackenzie Health Richmond Hill Hospital in her 85th year.

Beloved partner of Larry French.

Cherished mother to Derek and Michelle (Steve) Chalmers.

Loving grandmother to Andrew, Ryan, Brett and Kaitlyn.

Survived by her siblings Charlotte (Ernie) and Walter “Butch” (Helen).

Predeceased by her sisters Eileen, Dolly and Clara.

Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.

Evelyn was devoted to her children and grandchildren. They were the world to her. She loved supporting them at their sporting events, baking special treats on holidays and always sending cards with loving messages.

Evelyn enjoyed knitting, reading, dancing, swimming and spending time in Niagara with Larry. Evelyn worked many years at York University. She was a landlord with Larry of an apartment building in the “Hill” until her passing. She was a devoted Catholic who was kind, loving and always had great stories to tell that would put a smile on your face.

The family of Evelyn would like to extend their gratitude to the medical and nursing team at the Mackenzie Health Hospital especially during her final days.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Covenant House.
