SEMIRA, Adoracion Gonzales - It is with a heavy heart that the family of Adoracion (Doring) Semira announces her passing on the morning of Thursday, September 17, 2020. Adoracion, widow, died peacefully in her home in Ajax, ON at the age of 86.
She is survived by her 7 children - Eddie, Emma, Agnes, Elizabeth, Alex, Allan and Ailene - their spouses, 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way.
Born in Batangas, Philippines, Doring immigrated to Toronto, Canada in the 1980s to join her husband Igmedio, her sisters and much of their rapidly-growing family.
With a handful of grandchildren in need of additional care, she became instrumental in their upbringing and a key supportive cog in those households. With her signature smile and incredibly caring soul, Doring loved to be surrounded by all her family members and would even take extended trips to Los Angeles, California to spend time with them.
She was famous for bringing joy to everyone around her and made every effort to put a smile on each person's face
as big as her own.
Doring will be remembered fondly by all and her dear memory and light will carry on by those whose lives she's touched.
Arrangements with Highland Funeral Home, Scarborough. The service will take place at St. Barnabas, 10 Washburn Way, Scarborough on September 21st at 10:30 AM.
