Lattanville CarolLATTANVILLE, Carol-Ann (Hotton) - (1952 - 2020) - Passed away peacefully on Saturday October 3rd, 2020 at home with her beloved family in Scarborough, Ontario after a short yet courageous battle with cancer.

Loving wife and soulmate to Brian Lattanville. Cherished Mother of Trina (Tim), Joni (Mike), Kim, James, Sandra (Denis), Steven (Krista) and Brian Jr.

Adored Grandmother of Michael, Julian, Adrian, Cayden, Ava, Jake, Chantel, Dawson, Colby, Sadie, Carter and Calvin. Proud Great-Grandmother to baby Presley.

Carol was predeceased by her parents Gerald and Ines Hotton and her brother Homer. Survived by her siblings Joan (Amby), Ella (Blake), Leonard (Albina), Joyce (Paul) and Ruby.

Fondly remembered by in-laws John (Marilynn), Leonard and her former husband Jim Doody. She had many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and coworkers (TDSB) who all touched her heart.

Carol had a strong love of country music, she learned how to play the guitar at the early age of 10 and had been playing & singing ever since. Travelling to Nashville with Brian was one of her passions, becoming like her second home. Carol grew up in Gaspe, Quebec with strong family traditions that she passed along to her children. Singing was a large part of family gatherings and she always had a guitar in her hands. She taught her loved ones to end every goodbye with an I LOVE YOU.

Visitation will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, at 4115 Lawrence Ave East, Scarborough on Friday October 9th from 1pm-3:30pm. Visitation will be rotational based on maximum numbers and your patience and understanding is sincerely appreciated. The funeral will be a private service for immediate family only. The service will be recorded and uploaded to the Giffen-Mack West Hill Facebook Page.
