PERSICO, Pietro - Died peacefully on the morning of November 3, 2020 after a short stay at Markham Stouffville Hospital at 96 years of age.
He is survived by his loving wife Carmela Ferrara of almost 75 years, and his 6 children; Luigi Persico (Teresa), Salvatore Persico (Paola), Eleanora Lio (Gabriele), Nancy Lio (Aldo), Joe Persico (Cindy) and Mary Palleschi (Tony).
As well as 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; Carmela Addorisio (Felice) and their children Philip, Thomas and Veronica; Josie Minaudo (Joe) and their children Rino and Isabella; Daniela Cicciarella (Sal) and their children Charlie and Celeste; Peter Persico (Josie); Carmela Linda Serpa (Mike) and their children Sienna and Luca; Angelo Persico (Manny); Fabio Persico; Eddy Lio (Patrizia) and their children Gabriel and Aiden; Luisa Palmisano (Adrian) and their children Andrew and Daniel; Carlo Lio (Heidi) and their son André; Diana Palermo (Gino) and their children Leo and Mila; Jessica Persico; Julia Palleschi (Steve) and Melissa Palleschi.
He is also survived by his sisters Antonietta Arangio, Concetta Latino, Giuseppina Valtellini, Concetta Barone, Rosa Guarrasi, Rosaria Barrotta and will join his brothers and sister in heaven, Giuseppe Persico, Pietro Guarnaschelli and Manuela Persico.
The family is also grateful to the staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital (2E), who took such good care of Pietro and provided support to the family until the very end.
