Muldoon LorraineMULDOON, Lorraine Gilberte (Flowerday) - Lorraine Gilberte Muldoon, eldest Daughter of Gilberte and Roland Flowerday, born April 14th, 1941, passed away peacefully at 9:30 AM on November 6, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family, her favourite oldies playlist, in an abundance of laughter.

She passed away at 79 years of age.

She was a beloved mother to Daniel (Deborah), Shelley-Lynne, Terry (predeceased), and a cherished grandmother to Andrew (Angelica), Cassandra-Lynn, Meagan, and Erin.

She was sister to Edythe Topolinski, Ron Flowerday (predeceased), Gill Flowerday (predeceased), Denise (Joseph) Grella.

Lorraine was educated at Notre Dame in Sudbury, Ontario and eventually Laurentian University, where she completed her teachers degree in 1959. She then began a lifelong career as a dedicated teacher in the French school board. She began her career in Montreal, continued it in Sudbury, then Calgary, and finally in Toronto where she retired.

Lorraine was an avid craftswoman - from sewing clothing for herself and her children, to knitting and crocheting blankets for all of her loved ones, and her newfound passion of bunka, among many others. She was a cherished baker for the family - from grandma cookies at Christmas to marble cakes for birthdays to banana bread for when we were down and everything in between.

Arrangements with Roadhouse and Rose funeral home, Newmarket. Lorraine will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery at 8361 Young St., Thornhill, Ontario. The funeral will be private. There will be a small private get together to remember her life on November 13th. Please contact Shelley with any comments or questions.

If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Scott Mission, or the Children’s Helpline.
