Price PoppyPRICE, Poppy May Eunice  - It is with great sadness that the family of Poppy Price announces her passing on Wednesday December 2, 2020, at the age of 73.

Poppy will always be lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years, Bob, and their daughters Deborah (Germán) and Colleen (Darryl).

She will be missed greatly by her three grandchildren, Adam, Ryan and Isadora.

She is survived by her cousins Shirley-Anne, Barbara, Wendy and Tom.

Poppy was known for her generosity, kindness and her caring nature. She gave wonderful hugs. She was highly involved and supportive in her children’s and her grandchildren’s lives. She generously volunteered her time to the Guiding world, sports and Heart and Stroke. She was a devoted Christian who was faithful to God and to the community at Trinity Church Aurora, where she was a longtime parishioner and former Church Administrator for nearly 20 years.

She was often the first person new parishioners met, greeting each one with a warm welcome and plenty of conversation. Poppy was an ambassador for Trinity receiving dignitaries and street people with love and care. She always behind the scenes of anything going on at Trinity.

Poppy had such great strength and perseverance through all of her physical complications. She always had time to chat and share stories with anyone who stopped by and would leave them with a smile on their face. Thoughtful, caring, true light, warmest, most loving and positive person, are all thoughts from dear friends. Poppy truly was a beautiful soul, an angel sent from heaven and she will be missed dearly.

Arrangements are entrusted with Thompson funeral home, Aurora. A small memorial for immediate family will be held, and in the future, a Celebration of Life will happen.

Those who so desire may make memorial donations to Trinity Anglican Church, www.trinityaurora.ca in memory of Poppy.
