Abdul JoeABDUL, Joseph Shushavedath - On Saturday January 9, 2021, our dad passed this life.

Our dad who was affectionately known as Nandu was the first child of Iris Bell and Albert Abdul. He was born on December 4th, 1941 in the parish of St. Mary, Jamaica, West Indies.

In his early twenties he moved to Kingston to study auto mechanics. After completing his studies, he migrated to Canada.

On May 4th 1973, he married Inga. The union produced Milton, Paul, Maurice, Marvell and Melissa. Family was everything to dad.

He was hard working and worked tirelessly for decades to care for his family. Joseph Abdul, our dad touched the lives of many people with his bright smile, calm demeanor and big heart.

He always had words of wisdom to share and was never too busy to listen and reason with his wife, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers, sister, neighbors, co-workers, and strangers. You got the point.

Dad was a man of faith. He believed in God and his promises. Many have shared how he was a wonderful man, a caring son, husband, grandfather, cousin, uncle and a truly loyal friend who would comfort you with his compassion in times of need.

He is survived by his Wife: Inga. Children: Milton, Paul, Maurice, Marvell and Melissa. Grandchildren: Desann, Tyrell, Tionna, Demari, Isaiah, Gavin, Marcus and Malaya. Grandchild: Reggie. Daughter-in-laws: Jean and Christine. Son-in-law: Seon. Mother: Iris Bell. Brothers: Bobby, Carl, Earl, and Danny and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many more.

Respecting the current situation and pandemic building restrictions, a private family service will take place. The visitation will be livestreamed via the links below on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. Livestream: http://www.livememorialservices.com/Home/ServiceDetail/9673.
