ARRIZZA, Giovanna - God called Giovanna peacefully on February 17, 2021 at the age of 89.
Born in Fossacesia in Chieti, Giovanna met the love of her life Antonio, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. May she now be reunited in Heaven with Antonio who passed away on July 28, 2015.
Giovanna will be cherished by her children Connie (Sergio Arrizza), Sandra (Urbain Lavoie), and Anthony (Sandra). Proud Nonna of Marianna (Alessandro Pantaleo), Melissa, Joseph, Matthew (Julie), Simone (Michael Seip), Victoria, Laura, and Alexandra. Giovanna will be the guardian angel of her great-grandchildren Mia, Milena, & Margot.
She will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends in Italy and Canada.
Due to the current pandemic, the Funeral Service will be private for the immediate family, with the livestream link of the service available via the Delmoro funeral home website. Giovanna’s body will be laid to rest beside that of Antonio’s within Glendale Memorial Gardens in Etobicoke.
Donations in memory of Giovanna may be sent to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Kidney Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, or the Lung Association.
