Martens DonnaMARTENS, Donna Marie (Horrocks) - (1960 - 2021) - It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family announce the peaceful passing of Donna in the early morning hours of February 19, 2021, at home with her family by her side.

Loving wife and best friend of Theo, and much-loved mother of Peter, Geoffrey, and Natalie.

Donna is the beloved daughter of Jeannine, and the late Leslie Horrocks; and dear sister of Leslie Ann (Mike), Richard (Rhonda), Jacqueline (Catherine), and Andrea (Charles). She will also be missed by her extended family Marianne (Tim), Henny (Brian), and Wilma.

She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, and dear friends.

Donna lived a good and happy life. We will miss her sweet, sweet smile and her infectious laughter. She lovingly nurtured her family, and is loved by them for her encouragement, her genuine support and enthusiastic involvement. She will be remembered for her easy-going nature, her ongoing optimism, and her sense of humour.

She enjoyed a green thumb in the garden, and a creative flair for decorating and antiquing. Donna was a dedicated hard worker, and whole-heartedly embraced the task at hand. She loved meeting new people, and most of all being with her family and friends.

She has left us far too early; we will celebrate the good memories.

Arrangements (respecting Covid restrictions) are entrusted with Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, Newmarket. RSVP with the funeral home for visitation is mandatory. Due to COVID-19 the memorial service will be by invitation only. Thank you for your understanding.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
