SPEER, Grace Elizabeth (Thomson) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mom on February 23, 2021 just shy of her 97th birthday.
All who knew Grace were touched by her strength, her positive attitude and her kindness.
She will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Paul (Mimi), Peter and Nancy.
Cherished Gramma of grandchildren, Stephen (Patricia) and Esther (Derek).

She will be profoundly missed by her sisters, Edith Wallace (the late Ron), Shirley Hazel (the late Don), Barbara McTavish (late John H.), brother Tom Thomson (Beryl), brothers-in-law Ross Mullen, George Berry, sister-in-law, Kay McGregor and by her 36 nieces and nephews.
Grace was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Margaret Thomson, husband Fred Speer, sisters Audrey Sutherland (late Gordon), Eldred Thomson, Isabel Berry, Ruth Jacques (late Doug) brother David Thomson, sister-in-law Elinor Patrick.
A private family service is planned.
Many thanks to the staff at Harmony Hills Care Community who took such good care of Grace through the pandemic.
