WARD, John William  - Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Veterans Residence, Toronto, on Saturday, February 20, 2021, John William (Jack) Ward of Bobcaygeon, formerly of Toronto, in his 98th year.

Beloved husband of Isobel Jean Williams.

Loving father of Carol Irving, David and Jack Ward.

Dear grandfather of Beatrice Irving. Dear brother of Marguerite.

Brother-in-law of Peggy Topping (Ted).

Predeceased by his parents Frederick Ward and Eloise Thomson.

Survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

University of Toronto graduate (civil engineering), WWII veteran (Canadian Army).

Spent all of his working life with Link Belt Ltd./FMC, retiring as Vice-President and General Manager, FMC Canada Material Handling Systems Division. Jack's happiest moments were spent with family and close friends.

He was a talented builder of furniture and boats, and found solace in playing the piano.

His cheerful whistling will be missed.

Private burial service at York Cemetery in these difficult pandemic times.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Community Living Georgina.
