Schultz ChristopherSCHULTZ, Christopher - (February 16, 1960 - March 4, 2021)

Passed away suddenly at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington on Thursday, March 4, 2021, at the age of 61.

Beloved brother of Monica Schultz and Mark (Ruth) Schultz.

Predeceased by parents Peter and Vicky.

Chris’s accomplishments in life were incomparable. Chris had a long career in professional football; playing with the Dallas Cowboys and the Toronto Argonauts. The awards and recognitions he received for his work on the field are too many to mention.

Chris was also a popular and accomplished sports analyst, both on radio and television, during his time with TSN.

More importantly, Chris was a man of integrity, kindness, generosity, compassion, humor, curiosity, intelligence and so much more – a man with a big presence, a big personality and a big heart. He was “The Big Man”.

Visitation at Smith's funeral home, Guelph Line Chapel, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), Burlington (905-632-3333), on Wednesday March 10th, Thursday March 11th and Friday March 12th from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.

In accordance with provincial regulations, there is a limit to the number of visitors who may attend at one time. Please RSVP in advance at smithsfh.com. If you are having difficulty with the online RSVP, please call the Funeral Home between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

*All visitors are asked to wear a face mask and are to remain in their cars until their allotted time.

Private funeral service. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
