Reid RobertREID, Reverend Robert Alexander - On February 21, 2021, Reverend Robert Reid passed away at the age of 66. He waged a courageous battle with COVID-19 and its effects until the end.

Robert will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 23 years, Melissa (née Mount) and his children Gregory (Tamara), Sarah, Andrew, and Ian. Robert will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Hunter and Theresa.

Robert was predeceased by his parents, Ian and Jane (Jean).

Robert spent 15 years working for Sporting Life in Toronto, and will be kindly remembered by his co-workers there. In 2010, Robert felt called to the ministry. He was ordained in 2014 and began his 6 year service to Iona Presbyterian Church in North York, Ontario.

His favourite career, however, was as a stay-at-home parent, a role he embraced with love and enthusiasm.

As well as a devoted father, Robert was a nature enthusiast. His joys included canoeing, kayaking and biking.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Arramgements entrusted with Ogden funeral home.
