McKEE, William - William McKee Sr. has peacefully passed away on April 8, 2021 at the Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket, ON. Bill was in his 91st year, achieving many accomplishments through his long, happy and enduring life.
Bill had worked for the Montreal Gazette for 38 years and enjoyed the many friendships he made during his career.
Beloved husband of the late Kathleen Ellen McKee. Loving father of Catherine (son in law Roy Simms), Judith (son in law David Cunniam) and William Jr. Grandfather of Jeremey (wife Lyndsey, children Lexi and Jackson), Christopher (wife Kristin, children Kathleen and Jessica).
Brother to Victor McKee, Betty Miller and the late Patricia Gebhart. Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
A private ceremony will be held at the Newmarket Cemetery in Newmarket, ON. Arrangements entrusted with Roadhouse and Rose funeral home.
The family wishes that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket who provided wonderful care and support.
