WOLOSKI, William (Bill) Donald  - 1931 - 2021 It is with great love and many fond memories that the family of Bill Woloski announce that on March 30th, while holding his daughter Shelley's hand, he passed from this mortal coil peacefully and without pain.

Bill is survived by his wife Ollie of 68 years, children, cherished grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

After eighty-six illness-free years, in June of 2017, at his family home, Bill suffered a sudden and devastating stroke.

Always a fighter, Bill completed a recovery that was nothing short of miraculous with support from his "A" team and spent his last four years comfortably holding court, as he hosted those who loved him at his long-term care nursing home and spending time with his wife Ollie.

Wonderfully supported by the dedicated and compassionate staff at Universal Care, LTC Mackenzie Health, Bill greeted everyone with a smile and exceptional wit.

A special thank you to Dr. Hayami for your unwavering professionalism and compassion, and to Dr. Yang of Sunnybrook Hospital for your quick action to rush Bill to surgery, thereby gifting him with 4 more years of life.

Bill (Papa) had several foundational passions in his life that kept him grounded and in good spirits: he was a man of great dedication to his family; he had an unwavering commitment to his customers of the concrete block business that he served for over 50 years; as well as his wholehearted dedication to the Richmond Hill Hockey Association.

Bill advocated for the youth sport community and volunteered extensively during these years.

Many will remember Christmas Eve at the Woloski household. The "other" 24 Sussex rooted in Ukrainian tradition and constant company of great friends.

A celebration of Bill's life will take place at a later date, when COVID-19 allows.

In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that you conduct an act of compassion on his behalf and continue to cheer for the Toronto Maple Leafs!.
