MacARTHUR, Nancy Barbara - It is with great sadness to announce that Nancy Barbara MacArthur, born in Toronto on September 6, 1938, passed away at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay at 3 a.m. on May 15, 2021, after battling several lengthy illnesses that commenced in 2013.
Her son, George Michael MacArthur, did everything he could to look after his mother, even unto the very last.
Nancy was a courageous lady who throughout her life suffered and endured more than her fair share.
A woman of ferocious spirit who hated injustice and instilled her values in her sons George and older half-brother Richard Messina (deceased 1992).
Nancy had two sisters, Lynda Lauerman McGuire and Jean Graham (deceased 2018).
Nancy had one true love in her life, Tata, who crossed the rainbow bridge in 2008.
May the Creator of the Universe grant her much deserved peace and rest and joy with her companion.
