Curatola JosephCURATOLA, Joseph - (1955 - 2021) -

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Joe, who left us to be with the Lord in the early hours of Thursday, June 3, 2021, with his hands holding those of his devoted wife and friend, Jenny, and his beloved son and daughter, Philip and Kristina.

He will be missed by his cherished sisters, Fran and Mary, and his loving nieces and nephews, Maria, Joe, Katrina, Frank, and their families.

In all the stages of his life and his career with the Toronto Catholic District School Board as a teacher and principal, he was a genuine source of inspiration and made a difference in the lives of many students. He was a teacher to all, and his legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of those who crossed his path.

Joe will be forever remembered by his many close friends and family members, both here and abroad.

During his final months, Dr. Nadia Salvo, who we called our special little angel, and her team at Dorothy Ley Hospice, made it possible for Joe to stay at home with his family, which was his greatest wish.

A special thank you to his dear friend Father Vito Marziliano, and the beautiful St. Patrick Church which provided him with a refuge, offering him much peace and strength during this difficult time.
...a life well lived, but cut too short.

In lieu of flowers or donations, the family would appreciate it if you would say a prayer or plant a perennial or tree in his memory, in a space special to your heart.

All the places I remember… In my life, I love you more.
God bless you, Joe.
Until we meet again.
