Claridge DouglasCLARIDGE, Douglas Gordon   -   It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doug, at the age of 74, on June 12, 2021, in Mississauga, from complications with COPD.

Predeceased by his parents, and his brother Roger.

Loving father to Tim (Ursula). Dear brother to Don (Lynn) and Debby.

Fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Pat and beloved uncle to LeeAnn (Patrice), Jody, Sherrie (Martin), Christopher and Krista.

Great-uncle to Ali, Brandon, Benjamin, Jayden, Julianna and Sydney.

Great-great-uncle to Sloan.

Grandpa and Uncle Doug to the family dogs – Rupert, Molly, Milo, Storm and Priscilla.

Doug was the most happy when spending time with his family and fishing on his boat with his son Tim and sister Debby and in earlier days with his friend Joe.

Doug's other passion was his love for dogs and made many 4-pawed friends for life over the years.

His life ended with a few funny moments that his family will cherish forever. Doug – we will miss you dearly but we have comfort in knowing you are at rest and probably out to catch the biggest fish ever.

Cremation has taken place. At his request, there will be no funeral.

A celebration of his life with his family will be held at a future date.
