CAVALARIS, Helen - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Helen Cavalaris at the age of 90 at Sunnybrook Hospital on Friday June 18, 2021.
Helen was married to the love of her life, Louis Jr., for over 55 years. Helen was an integral part of her husband’s success as a leading thoroughbred horse trainer.
Helen had several close friends who enjoyed her company and her stories about her travels around the world. Helen hosted countless Christmas and other holiday dinners for close friends and family.
Helen was also very proud of her two sons who have successful careers in finance.
Helen is survived by her two sons, Louis III (Amelia) and Michael, her granddaughter Julia-Rose, and niece Janet Ozembloski.
Helen was predeceased by her sister Jenny Ozembloski (Steve) and her brother Michael Firmanty.
Due to COVID-19, a celebration of Helen’s life will be held in the fall.
