WURTZBURG, Christopher Bryan - Of Toronto, aged 91, died peacefully at the Michael Garron Hospital, on July 24, 2021, after a long illness.
Chris is survived by his wife, Diana Jane Wurtzburg, his three children and their families: Susan and Lyle, Mary Anne, Dave, and Bryn, and Charles.
Chris was born in Devon, UK, where he loved to walk on Dartmoor and birdwatch.
His military national service occurred in Libya, and he later received his BA and MA from Cambridge University, where he made lifelong friends.
Post-education, Chris moved to Canada, married Diana, and they raised their family.
Happy memories include family walks, the farm, travel, and a shared love of reading.
No service is planned.
Appreciation for the excellent palliative care provided by Michael Garron Hospital, and the superb long-term care at Revera Leaside.
