Palen NormanPALEN, Norman  - 1933 - 2021 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Norman on July 29, 2021.

Beloved husband of 54 years to Dorothy. Dear father to Leah (Brad) and Tara, and cherished "Boppi" to Jenna, Jack, Braden and Nicholas.

Special uncle to Yvonne (John) and a lifetime friend to Betty and Jack Smith.

Norman was a longtime employee of Metro Toronto Roads Department and a part time employee of the T. Eaton Company and the Toronto Star.

He had a passion for cars, especially classics, and as an avid shopper, loved to drive all over to "get a deal."

As a lifelong resident of the east end, he was a proud member of The Balmy Beach Club and always looked forward to reminiscing with old friends at his monthly luncheons at The Duke.

His smile and sparkling blue eyes will be dearly missed by his friends and family.

A private family celebration has taken place.

Special thanks to the Kidney Team and staff of Toronto General Hospital's MOT/ Nephrology Unit 6A.

Donations in memory of Norman to the Nephrology Unit at UHN Foundation would be appreciated.
