SIMPSON, Jim (James Robert Simpson) - Jim passed away on June 19, 2021.
Predeceased by his loving wife Monetta (Pether) in 2014. Jim and Monetta were married for over 40 years.
Jim was a devoted father to Sherrie (Joe) and Brad (Claire).
Jim was a doting grandfather to Joseph, Matthew (Meghan) and the late Michael.
His grandsons were his greatest joy. Jim's cousin Peter was the brother he never had.
He will be deeply missed by Peter, his wife Pat as well as many other cousins, and friends.
Jim's greatest joy was his family. He loved being a husband and dad and especially a grandfather. Jim was a retired Fire Captain of thirty years for The Toronto Fire Service.
A celebration of Jim's life and prayer service will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 11 a.m. at W. John Thomas Funeral Home, Alliston.
