PIRRIE, Evelyn Louise - It is with great sadness we announce her passing on Sunday, October 24, 2021.
Born in Toronto on February 6, 1926, she was the younger daughter of Russell Adams and Elizabeth Phillips Adams.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Ian, and will be sadly missed by her children, the late Elizabeth (the late Jeff Jennings), Margaret, Carolyn (Al), and John (Lidia).
Missed also by her grandchildren, Sarah (Scott), Craig (Jina), Tom (Caroline), Martha (Matty), Megan (Tom), Devon (Jim), Weston (Heather), Malcolm, and Gavin.
She had seven wonderful great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sister Clarabeth Young. She spent her summers during the war years harvesting fruit in Niagara with the Land Army. She graduated from Havergal College in 1944.
Enjoyed many happy games of tennis and badminton, and bridge at the Granite Club with close friends.
We will miss her kindness, her pretty smile, her support, and her love and laughter.
A family celebration of her life will take place in the spring.
