SOLWAY, Morrey  -  On November 9, 2021, Morrey Solway, passed away peacefully.

He lived a wonderful life.

Morrey grew up in trying circumstances.

He lost his parents as a young boy and was raised by his Aunt Gertrude, with help from his many siblings.

This experience unquestionably instilled a deep appreciation for family.

In his later teens, Morrey was invited by his late brother, Bennett, to come from Windsor to Toronto to make a better life for himself.

Not long after, he met the love of his life, Lenore, and they began building a life together.

Morrey and Lenore carried a deep and profound love for each other from the first time they met up until his very last day.

Morrey and Lenore created a wonderful family of three children: Eric, Mitchell, and Kenny, three daughters-in-law: Sandra, Valerie, and Alison, and eight grandchildren: Rebecca, Robbie, Hannah, Jonathan, Miriam, Aidan, Rowen, and Caleb. His family was certainly his proudest achievement.

Morrey, a brilliant, kind man, lived his life with a mission to make those around him feel comfortable and important. Most will remember Morrey for his quick wit both at the best and worst of times - he filled everyone with laughter.

We will miss Morrey very much, but his light and wit will remain with us forever.
