Don has gone to join his sweetie, Mary (Priestley).
Father of Rick (Sandie), David (Leslie), Jane (Greg Dennis), and Sue (Mike Wetzel).
Grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 2.
Predeceased by brothers Tom (Palm Desert, CA) and Jack (Richmond, BC) and sister Irene (White Rock, BC).
Longtime employee of Imperial Oil, initially as a sailor on their Great Lakes then ocean tankers, and eventually in their accounting department at Don Mill for most of his career.
Dad/Pa wanted us to also express his appreciation to the nurses, doctors and staff at Scarborough Grace Hospital who showed him such compassion on his journey.
A private family service has taken place.
