Muttart GeorgeMUTTART, George "Graham"   -  It is with sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of our remarkable Graham, with daughter, Heather and son- in-law, Dan at his side on November 7, 2021 in Brampton, Ontario.

Beloved husband, father, brother-in-law, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Treasured friend to so many people across the country, especially Toronto and Prince Edward Island.

Graham cut a large swath in life. Predeceased in July 2021 by loving wife, Sheila.

Sorely missed by daughters, Heather Lawrence (Dan Crook) and Kathy Garvey (Gerry Garvey), grandsons Austin Garvey and Scott Lawrence (Fallon Lawrence and great-granddaughter, Beatrice), and several nieces and a nephew.

Also deeply missed by step-family, Kevin Crook, Ryan Crook (Elissa Grindatto and step-great-grandchildren, Camille and Byron).

Special thanks for support to niece, Linda Grearson.

Graham was born in Summerside, PEI on May 3, 1929, to parents, George and Margaret Muttart. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Dalhousie.

Graham and Sheila were introduced by the stellar Shirley McCormick in 1951.

They married in September 1954.

Graham's early career included insurance appraiser and tax auditor for the federal government.

Then in 1965, he found his stride as a high school teacher, teaching business.

We wish to extend our deepest gratitude to the staff at the McCowan Retirement Residence for the wonderful and attentive care they provided to Graham. He simply could not have been in a better place.

A joint celebration of Graham and Sheila's lives will be held once pandemic restrictions are lifted. Interment in Summerside, PEI is tentatively planned for the summer of 2022.

In the meantime, memories of Graham and condolences may be emailed to Dan Crook, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Donations in memory may be made to one of Graham and Sheila's favourite venues, the Indian River Festival in Prince Edward Island. www.indianriverfestival.com.
