WRIGHT, Edward (Ted) - June 8, 1944 – November 16, 2021
Dad will be lovingly remembered by his wife of almost 50 years Elaine, children James (Jennifer) and Laurie (Tim); grandchildren Matthew (Samantha), Justin (Melissa), Emily and Michael; and by his four great-grandchildren.
Through his tough exterior, you could always tell that he was proud of his family.
Ted spent his entire life in the Toronto area, most of it driving trucks for Dominion Consolidated and TNT Overland Express.
He was a lifelong Toronto Maple Leafs and Minnesota Vikings fan, which caused him much grief and suffering. He would text his son every Sunday and let him know how awful (or great) the teams were.
He also loved the Boston Red Sox, which provided him with many reasons to celebrate over the past two decades.
Ted's favourite activity was riding his scooter to the local Tim Horton's every day and then to the local park to play with the many dogs. He was never without his dog treats.
