Belanger PatriciaBELANGER, Patricia Diane   -  February 18, 1935 - November 27, 2021

After a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease, Diane passed away peacefully, at West Oak Village Long Term Care Home.

Diane was born and lived in the Toronto area for her entire life.

She was the only child of Eva and Earl Christie.

Diane will finally be reunited with her late husband James (Jim) of 60 years and beloved daughter Michele in Heaven. Diane loved spending her winters at their home in New Zealand and summers at the cottage on Pigeon Lake near Bobcaygeon entertaining their many friends and family that came to visit.

Diane will forever be remembered for her magical Christmas celebrations and devotion to her beloved children James (Elizabeth), Marc and Christopher (Barbara).

She leaves behind treasured grandchildren, Paul, Danielle, Ashley, Melissa, Renee, Brandon, Nicole, Jordan, Matthew, Eric, Ryan, Nova and step-grandchildren Ross and Elizabeth and numerous great-grandchildren that had blessed her life.

Diane is survived by her sisters-in-law, Anne and Joan and fondly remembered by the many Belanger cousins who enjoyed the hospitality of Jim and Diane over the years.

Friends and family are invited to visitation at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham, on Friday, December 10th, from 6:00-9:00 p.m.  Memorial service is at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at 5633 Highway #7, Markham, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 11th.
