Wilkinson BrookeWILKINSON, Brooke Elizabeth Brigden  -  March 8, 1989 – January 4, 2022

It is with breaking hearts that we announce our amazing daughter, Brooke, passed away suddenly at home in her sleep on January 4, 2022 at the age of 32.

Brooke was a beautiful person, both inside and out.

A gifted student and an awesome writer with a wonderful sense of humour, she lit up every room she walked in to.

She loved music, dancing, travelling, and surrounding herself with family and friends.

She had deep compassion and was always willing to help everybody, especially those less fortunate than herself. Brooke adored her two cats, Bear and Teenie and she took them with her everywhere.

They quickly became part of our family and they brought her much joy.

After winning awards in English, Creative Writing, French and photography at St. Paul's Secondary School, she went on to receive a Bachelor of Journalism from Ryerson University.

She worked in social media at Rogers Communications, Corus Entertainment, Marigold Marketing & PR and then started Brooke Brigden Media.

Brooke would want us all to laugh together and remember her good memories. Her own infectious laugh and quick wit will never be forgotten.

Bear and Teenie are safe with us and that would make her very happy.

She leaves behind her adoring parents, Paula and Don Wilkinson (who she called Paula B and Kevin Bacon), her cherished older brother Matthew, her loving grandparents Mabel (Belle) and William (Bill) Wilkinson, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Predeceased by her grandparents Gordon and Theresa Brigden.

A private family service will be held and a Celebration of Life for Brooke will take place at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mississauga Animal Services Shelter (SCARF).
