Mullings PeterMULLINGS, Peter Alexander - The Reverend Canon Peter Mullings OD (Jamaica) was born in Hanover, Jamaica on February 29th, 1936.

He transitioned peacefully on January 11, 2022, at the age of 85, surrounded by his family in Brampton, Ontario.

Peter was the loving husband of Jean Mullings and father to Elizabeth Mullings-Smith, Peta-Gaye (Lisa) Mair, Paula-Jean Lyn and Jeremy Mullings and their spouses.

He leaves behind 11 grandchildren, one great grand daughter and numerous others who were welcomed into his family.

Father Peter will be remembered as an innovative priest who was responsible for leading many initiatives in the Anglican Church in Jamaica. He was known for empowering youth within the church and has made an indelible impact on the spiritual lives of many. He was a jovial individual, and a great storyteller.

He was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8

Arrangements entrusted with Andrews funeral home, Brampton. Due to Covid restrictions, a small service will be held at St. Joseph of Nazareth Anglican Church on Saturday January 22nd at 1pm. The service will be livestreamed on the Church’s YouTube channel - http://tiny.cc/ocp5mz.
