KUEHTEUBL, Barara (nee SCHRAMM) - Passed away peacefully, at Hospice Simcoe, on January 8, 2022, with her heartbroken daughters by her side.
Barbara was born in Berlin, Germany, on December 24, 1935 and was the first in her family to immigrate to Canada at age 19.
Her 35-year career in nursing was spent at Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital and the Queen Street Mental Health Centre (CAMH).
Barbara was a warm, loving, tough, funny, strong, positive, beautiful person who had a lasting impact on everyone she met. She was the heart and soul of her beloved family and will be forever missed by her daughters and sons-in-law, Gabriela and Ed Achorn and Jennifer and Ron Frey, her 4 grandchildren, Stephanie (Adam), Samantha (Jim), Alex and Aidan, and 4 great-grandsons.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer, date to be announced.
