Heenan DonHEENAN, Don   - 1943 - 2022   The family of Don Heenan, beloved son of the late Ann and Warren Heenan, are saddened to announce his sudden passing on August 26, at Sunnybrook Hospital, at the age of 79.

He will be sadly missed by his dear wife, Edna; his brother, Paul (Linda); and sisters, Ann, Mary (Grant), Joan (Colin); and his many nieces and nephews.

He will also be joining his late siblings, Liz and Warren on his continued journey.

Don was a teacher with the Toronto Separate School Board, and for most of his career was an administrator with the Dufferin Peel Catholic Board until his retirement.

He was fortunate enough to have many years in retirement playing tennis with his pals at the Granite Club, and golfing with his regular Monday group.

Don was a voracious reader, loved movies and was a devoted Toronto Maple Leafs fan.

There will be a private family cremation and a Celebration of Life with family and friends in the near future.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Sunnybrook Foundation, 2075 Bayview Ave., Toronto, ON. M4N 3M5. Don will be dearly missed by all of his loved one.
