Forestell MichaelFORESTELL, Michael "Mike"   -  December 14, 1930 - December 3, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Michael "Mike" Forestell on December 3, 2022, at the age of 91, a few days shy of his 92nd birthday.

He was the dearly beloved husband of 59 years to Edith Caroline Forestell (Coates), and a loving father to Carol Putt (Phillip) and Julie Stewart (Kenneth).

May he be the guardian angel to his grandsons, Drew, Nathan and Braeden.

Michael will be lovingly remembered by his family and many friends in the Toronto area and his hometown of Marmora, where he spent many days at the family cottage where he enjoyed the "million-dollar view."

We will cherish all that he brought to our lives, his love and his strong Catholic faith.

The family would like to extend many thanks to the doctors and nurses at Etobicoke General who helped take care of Michael and all his needs in his final moments.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gregory's Church, Toronto, 122 Rathburn Rd., on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 11 a.m.

A Memorial Mass will be held on July 15th, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Marmora, Ontario (38 Bursthall St.), with the interment and a reception afterwards. Please join us to Celebrate Mike's Life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Etobicoke General Hospital, or the Canadian Jesuits International.
