LAMONT, Mary Louise   -  Passed away peacefully, at North York General Hospital on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, in her 95th year.

 

Mary Louise was born in Minnedosa, Manitoba and moved to Toronto where she attended Etobicoke Collegiate.

She received her Bachelor of Nursing and Masters of Library Science at the University of Toronto.

 

Predeceased by her parents, James and Otta Lamont (nee Clayton) and cousins Jean Jardine, Lois Bridges and Peter Clayton.

 

She leaves her cousins Jeffrey, Bruce and Joan Clayton and good friends Suzanne Knight and Barbara Jackson. Mary Louise will be remembered for her love of playing classical music on her piano and being a big fan of the Toronto Blue Jays.

 

Visitation will take place on Monday, March 6th at 10:00 a.m., with funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene, 477 Manning Avenue, Toronto.

 

Memorial donations to the Royal Conservatory of Music would be appreciated.
