1954 - 2023 Tamara E.

 

Silny passed away on March 23, 2023, at the age of 68 at the Toronto General Hospital.

 

Tammy was born on September 2, 1954, in Sherbrooke, Quebec, the loving daughter of the late Dr. John Silny and the late Bertha Silny.

 

She leaves to mourn her brother, Frederick Silny (Judy Jurdan); her nephew, John Silny (Jasmin Silny); as well as other relatives and friends.

 

Tammy graduated from King's Hall in Compton, Quebec, and attended McGill University. She spent most of her working life as an executive at advertising agencies in Toronto.

 

Tammy was a beloved woman who touched the lives of many with her caring nature. She was passionate about cooking and collecting cookbooks.

 

Her collection of hundreds of cookbooks, amassed over decades, was a testament to her insatiable curiosity and dedication to expanding her culinary repertoire.

 

Tammy's culinary prowess was only surpassed by her profound appreciation of friendship. Her genuine interest in people's lives and well-being endeared her to so many who were privileged to experience the joy of her companionship.

 

Tammy's indomitable spirit, culinary artistry, creative brilliance and unwavering friendship will forever be etched in our hearts. Her laughter will echo in our memories.

 

A private service was held at the Elmwood Cemetery, Sherbrooke, Quebec, on July 22, 2023.
