Sullivan SondraSULLIVAN, Sondra Louise (née Rangel) Sullivan  - Passed away on the morning of Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at St. Michael's Hospital, in Toronto, with her loving daughter by her side.

Her illness was unexpected and brief; she was admitted to hospital only the day before.

Sondra was born in Topeka, KS, on January 11, 1945, grew up in Brooklyn, NY, and moved to Toronto in 1974. Her professional career began on Wall Street and concluded with a long stretch as personal assistant to the businessman and diplomat Maurice Strong.

She was a bon vivant, committed to living life to the fullest. For her, that meant a retirement full of travel, winters in Puerto Vallarta, and time with her recently arrived great-granddaughter Ava Wookey.

She is also survived by her centenarian mother Sophie Santino, her siblings Gina Williams (Wallace Williams), Mark Anthony Santino, Claudia Santino (David Powell), her daughter Lisa Richler (Jacob Richler), her much loved grandson Nicholas Wookey (Meaghan Greer), her stepdaughters Christine Creighton (Peter Creighton), Nicole Smith (Robert Smith), and step-grandchildren Simon Creighton, Max Creighton, Charlie Smith, Max Richler and Simone Richler. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 27 years, Dr. Gregory V. Jump, in 2015.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Nava Maham and the other exceptional doctors in the ICU and Acute Care units at St. Michael's Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the St. Michael's Foundation.

The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville) on Wednesday, November 29th from 5 – 7 pm. A private service will follow on Thursday.
