KEENAN, Glenna Marie   -

November 28, 1935 - March 15, 2023

Honouring our Mother, on her birthday, the first without her presence, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glenna Marie Keenan (nee Hart).

Glenna passed away peacefully this past spring. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Robert Keenan.

Glenna is survived by her brother, Roger Hart (Cynthia Rowden); her children, Craig (Tina), Glenn and Meredith; her beloved grandchildren, Joshua, Christopher, Jordan and Montana; and her great-grandchildren, Arie, Raya and a child to be named later.

Glenna was also very proud to be part of a loving and supportive extended Keenan family, where she was known and cherished as a sister-in-law and aunt! Born in Toronto, Glenna grew up in the west end.

She enjoyed travelling and managed to navigate Europe with three young children in tow during the time we lived there. She enjoyed her time as a French supply teacher when we returned to Toronto.

Most of all, she enjoyed being a mom and Granny and she will be missed dearly. Many have reminded us of how much they remember and will miss her boisterous laugh. Glenna did not want a big send off, so we held a small family service.

She was laid to rest at Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery in Toronto.

She most wanted everyone to celebrate her life and the time spent together.

Cheers Mom! Your thoughts and prayers are always welcome.

Any donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in her name.
