Keeler SarahKEELER, Sarah  -

October 23, 1969 - November 27, 2023

With great sadness we announce the passing of Sarah Keeler on November 27th, at the age of 54 years, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Sarah was deeply loved by her husband Graeme Hughson, her mother Nancy Cornwell and loving siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins from all sides of the family.

Sarah was raised in northern Ontario but made her way south, eventually settling in Toronto where she met Graeme, and where the two began their life together.

Sarah loved people and had an ability to engage anyone on a very personal level.

In her career, Sarah was a gifted personal support worker and recreational therapist, specializing in long-term care.

She was deeply committed and a strong advocate for her residents and fellow staff who provided loving care to the frail elderly.

But Sarah's happy place was at Georgian Bay admiring a beautiful sunset, sharing laughter with family and friends, or being nose down in a really good book.

A private interment will be followed by a celebration of Sarah's life for family and friends at the Badminton & Racquet Club, 25 St. Clair Avenue West, M4V 1K6 on Wednesday December 13th, 3 to 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, we invite you to make a donation in Sarah's name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
